For this VFX Effect, I wanted to create a green circle ground icon with a custom symbol inside of Unity. I began my process by making the materials in Photoshop, and then I switched my attention to making another symbol inside of Illustrator. After I was satisfied with how the symbol turned out, then I used Photoshop to create the alpha map channel.

I then began thinking about how this effect should transition to allow the player to know that this will follow you or the enemies as they move. Below are the materials and codes used for this effect.
